The Breakdown

Many planners are helping connect you with vendors and venues. Although your venue is likely national forest land, this includes things like tables, chairs, and decor installations. North Star packages INCLUDE your meals, furniture, lodging, and decor along with your itinerary. Along with that, we’re there to make it happen. No venue fees has it’s perks, but someone still needs to be there to ensure setup, breakdown, and vendor coordination run smoothly without you even knowing.

Within each client project is a budget, here’s the breakdown:

• Cost of planning and full on-site coordination through North Star: $4000

• Remaining budget is split for cost of lodging, food and beverage, guided activities is split and used according to your priorities for your day.

Having an inclusive (to a reasonable degree) pricing structure allows us to utilize the amount you’re spending where it makes the most sense. Your top priorities are where I am allocating the most funds towards. With this arrangement, I handle all the vendor communication and payments, and you get to relax with a clutter-free inbox:)

Having a non-traditional approach to planning, I get to use my skills and creativity in ways that help you. For example, things like table and chair rentals can come with hefty fees, especially when locations are remote and require multiple days of rental, so we may make by hand or purchase what you need. We pride ourselves in finding the best and most efficiency v cost ways to ensure you have what you need and achieve the look you’re going for.

If you have a vision, and we can’t find the perfect thing, we will make it, buy it, and do anything I can to achieve the look. No vision is too crazy! Our only restrictions come if land or local laws come into play. We enjoy being in business, so keep things above board :)

Photography is the only element not included in the base packages. If you’d like us to choose and hire a photographer, we’re happy to!

Our focus is on ensuring things run smoothly. Photography is a very personal choice that’s based on style and personality. I am happy to provide you with my top recommendations; however, cannot encourage you more to ensure your photographer is someone you love, as they are a part of your day!

We try our best to keep everything as locally sourced as possible. North Star prides itself on maintaining strong relationships with all vendors and a deep background of knowledge in finding the right vendors for you.  

It all depends on what you’re looking for! After booking North Star, you will fill out a detailed questionnaire so we know what you’re interested in, then choose a home base that fits best:)
